ZBrush comes with many default hotkeys and mouse actions.You can use the Select tool to exit a command and return to select mode, which is useful when in sketches and with the viewing tools. They can speed up your workflow by allowing you to focus on your sculpting or painting, rather than constantly searching for an interface button. Shortcuts or Hotkeys are keyboard combinations that produce the same effect as pressing a ZBrush interface item.

Locate the command in the list (usually visible at the bottom of the history), then right-click and choose Map Command to Key. In the toolbar, tap to accesses the Quick Selection tools.To assign a keyboard shortcut to a command, perform the command from the interface, then expand the Command History viewport, located in the lower-right hand corner of the interface.
